DR. DHIREN PATEL
Dr. Dhiren Patel is well known for creating highly structured programs tailored to the needs of his patients. As one of our four primary treatment providers, Dr. Patel enjoys working together with his clients’ referring mental health professionals to create a pathway to recovery.
Performing research on new and existing drugs for addiction and mental health is another area of interest with Dr. Patel. Over the years, his work in this arena has expanded remarkably both in treatment approaches and the use of cutting edge medications.
The first doctor in Dallas to offer the noninvasive, non-systemic TMS therapy for MDD once FDA approved.
In his spare time, Dr. Patel serves on voluntary advisory boards for several large insurance companies to help improve access and care for clients. He also works with several pharmaceutical companies as both an advisor and speaker.
LATONIA WILLIAMS, OFFICE MANAGER
I began working at Solace Counseling in May of 2013 initially in the medical assistant position. Throughout my years with Solace I have worked every position available expanding my knowledge of the in’s and out’s of the office staff, and customers’ needs.
As of January 2025, through my hard work and dedication to the company, I officially became the Program Director taking over all managerial duties for my mentor, Mr. John O’dea. I now oversee the office personnel, budgets, and maintain current licensure standards along with the administrative support needed to provide exceptional levels of treatment.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family and watching sports.
I am dedicated to ensure that everyone coming to Solace Counseling receives remarkable customer service.
ALICE HUDSON MSN, PMHNP-BC
Alice Hudson is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Masters Degree in Nursing, practicing since 2011. Alice provides integrative, individualized care for children, adolescents, and adults. She combines traditional psychiatric treatment with functional medicine principles to address the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle. She has a particular clinical interest in trauma-related concerns and women’s mental health and is committed to helping patients understand the root causes of their symptoms while building sustainable, personalized treatment plans. Her goal is to create a collaborative, compassionate space where people feel safe, supported, informed, and empowered in their healing.
DR. CHAD COLLOM DNP
Dr. Collom is a Board-Certified Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). He has been in practice since 2004, treating adults for psychiatric disorders such as Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, and Schizophrenia.
Dr. Collom, specializes in the needs of the LGBT community. Dr. Collom has also served as Associate Clinical Professor in the Graduate Nursing Program at The University of Texas, Arlington.
TONYA WILLIAMS DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC,
Tonya Williams is a board-certified nurse practitioner in the state of Texas. She brings over 20 years of healthcare experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about helping individuals on their journey to mental health/well-being and addiction. She treats adults dealing with depression, anxiety, ADD, PTSD, Bipolar, and schizophrenia. She is trained in Suboxone Induction Therapy or Medication Assisted Therapy for those suffering from addiction and has a Doctorate of Nursing.
Prior to joining Solace Counseling, Tonya worked as a hospitalist with various healthcare organizations. Her professional affiliations include ASAM, AANP and APNA. In her spare time, she volunteers for local community outreach organizations. She enjoys mentoring, traveling and participating in medical mission trips.
JENNIFER AUTRY MSN, PMHNP-BC
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in 1993 and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011. She is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Jennifer has over 18 years of experience as a registered nurse in neurosurgery, orthopedics, critical care and psychiatry. Her psychiatric experience includes inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. Jennifer’s clinical experience includes working with adolescent s, adults and older adults with attention deficit disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and chemical dependency. She has experience as a Nurse Practitioner in both private practice and governmental entities, including working with Homeless in Tarrant County and at a Maximum Security Forensic State Hospital. Her hobbies include quilting, sewing and knitting. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family.
JOHN FREEMAN LPC
John Freeman LPC is Licensed as a Professional Counselor by the State of Texas, and has worked in a variety of settings with different populations providing effective, compassionate and directive counseling. Making use of the therapeutic relationship itself as a vehicle for honesty and exploration, John states that his goal for individuals under his care is “to integrate different aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based-stress reduction and the 12-step ‘design for living’ to promote change and long-term recovery from mental illness and addictions”.
MADINA ZAHEER – CERTIFIED NEUROSTAR TMS COORDINATOR & SPRAVATO COORDINATOR TREATMENT SPECIALIST
Madina is the TMS/Spravato Coordinator and Treatment Specialist for our Dallas office. She has over 7 years of experience treating patients with NeuroStar TMS Therapy, has completed training at NeuroStar University (NSU), and she was the first coordinator in the DFW area to effectively treat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder with TMS therapy. She thrives in helping individuals regain their lives, free of Major Depression and OCD symptoms, and especially enjoys the working relationships developed with each patient as they progress through their healing journey. She has created a comforting and calm space that many patients have appreciated during their daily treatments, and she is especially attentive to patients’ TMS/Spravato scheduling needs (flexible hours), physician communication needs (refills, scheduling appointments), and office environment needs (blankets, music, lighting, etc.) to make their experiences with treatment an even more positive experience.
As TMS/Spravato Coordinator, Madina acts as liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies to coordinate TMS/Spravato consultations, evaluations with our Medical Director, insurance authorizations, patient treatment plans, and patient scheduling while also providing daily treatments. She also networks with other health care professionals in the DFW area to help build a solid referral base for the Dallas location.
In her spare time, Madina is quite adventurous and loves the outdoors, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family. Game nights are a must! ”.
