MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT)Freedom from addiction
Medication Assisted Treatment is a comprehensive approach to helping patients who deal with ongoing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) including Alcohol, and Opiate abuse.
Medications such as Buprenorphine (Suboxone, Zubsolv) for Opiate use and Naltrexone for Alcohol use are used in conjunction with therapy, 12 step treatment, and group counseling to reduce cravings and substantially improve outcomes.
At our office both Dr. Patel (in Dallas) and Tonya Putnam, NP (in Plano) are able to provide MAT for patients dependent on opiates and alcohol. Please feel free to contact our office if you have any questions about our program.
